Based on the recommendations from the MIT-inspired Fab Foundation, Volkswagen eLabs are outfitted with digital fabrication tools that empower students to "make (almost) anything." However, the innovation doesn't stop with the tools. With access to the tools, students engage in standards-aligned PBL units and open-ended design challenges that enable them to move into higher levels of learning and prepare for the workforce.
