Impact
The STEM School VW eLab empowers students to design solutions for real challenges from partners such as EPB, the Tennessee Aquarium, and Chattanooga Zoo. Students use CAD, 3D printers, laser cutters, and other fabrication tools to build and test prototypes while developing creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and career-ready skills.
Project Highlights
Project highlights include creating EPB’s interactive holiday window display with digital fabrication, motion, and lights; developing GoTalk communication supports and accessible games for children at Siskin Children’s Institute; and partnering with Chattanooga Design Studio to redesign storefronts for downtown businesses and strengthen the urban environment.
